Welcome to the Guardey Release Notes from Week 11 2023. Here you can find an overview of the most recent features and bug fixes.
General Updates
Seperated user portal and partner portal
We introduce our new user portal via my.guardey.com. Therefor, we have two portal now. Our earlier portal via portal.guardey.com is from now on our Partner Portal. You can manage here all your tenants. Are you a user? You can find everything you need on our user portal via my.guardey.com
Are you invited as a Partner? Please note that you first activate your account in our user portal. Please go after that with the same credentials to portal.guardey.com for the partner portal.
Onboarding flow in portal
We have also a new onboarding flow in our new user portal. This new onboarding flow is for users who register themself, but also for invited users. Invited users will see a short introduction of what Guardey is.
Gamification
With the release of our new portal we launch also our newest product; Gamification. Play in our user portal every week a new challenge and learn more about cyber security. In this game you start your own business and make this a success. But wrong choices can make your business an easy prey for cyber criminals. They will try to take money from you in all kinds of ways. Can you prevent your company from becoming a victim of cyber crime? Every week a new challenge is available, you can earn or lose money with playing these challenges. Would you like to earn more money? Play our bonus challenge as well.
Implemented Site2Site Server (add-on)
With our Site2Site option it is possible to make a connection with another network, such as an Office network. Our Site2Site connection works with the IPsec VPN protocol, which is supported to most networks. Please contact our Customer Succes via support@guardey.com to make this add-on available for your organization.
Windows 1.13.0:
New .EXE installer
Before we had only a .MSIX. This installer is build for enterprise deployments of Guardey, installed via a device management tool. As this gave some issues with installing for users when it was done manually. We now provide a .EXE installer to avoid issues with manaully installations. You can download this file via our user and partner portal.
Bug: Time of notifications was not correct
We have fix this and again the correct time is by every notification.Bug: First onboarding task couldn’t completedThe onboarding task, set your first connection couldn’t be completed. This is now fix and when you start the first connection, this tasks will be completed.
Bug: By notification the button “Mark all as read” was not working
We have fixed this, and you can put all unread messages on read in once now.
Improve auto-updater
We have improved the auto-updater of the app. Tha app will show a notification when there is a new update available. If you check manually for an update, the notification will also show it here is one available or not.
Whitelisting and bypasser are greyed out when they are disabled
Via group policies the admin can disabled the option to use the whitelisting or bypasser for the user. If this is disabled for the user, the user sees a greyd out button that says “locked by your admin”.

Partner Portal:
Bug: Clicking on the breadcrumbs on the organization name gave an error.
This is now fixed and give no error anymore.
Bug: After sorting multiple organizations where hidden.
This is fixed now and you can sort the table correctly. For exmaple on the creation date and you will see the newst on top.
